Is there anything new for GATE 2024?
In the interest of students who have appeared or appearing for GATE, few changes have been made to the examination pattern.
- Third-semester students can also appear for the examinations as the 10+2+4 has now been brought down to 10+2+3. Those of you who have completed your 10th, 12th and are studying in the 3rd semester can attend the GATE.
- The papers are going to be entirely objective-type questions. You will have multiple-choice questions, multiple-select questions, and numerical answer-type questions.
- New subjects: environmental science and engineering (ES) and Humanities and social science (XH), have been included in the system from this year onwards. So, the total number of subjects in GATE is 27.
